Radius Commercial Auto Insurance ("Radius," "we," "us," or "our"), a d/b/a of Devon Property & Casualty Company Inc, is a licensed insurance agency serving owner-operators and small commercial fleets. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

This policy applies to our websites, our online quote and contact forms, and our text messaging program.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

• Name, business name, mailing address, email address, and phone number
• Information needed to quote or service commercial auto coverage — vehicle and trailer details, VINs, driver names and license numbers, USDOT and MC numbers, radius of operation, cargo hauled, loss history, and current or prior coverage
• Messages and documents you send us

Information we obtain on your behalf

To quote and place coverage, we and the insurance carriers we submit to may obtain reports about you and your drivers from consumer reporting agencies and industry databases. These can include motor vehicle records (MVRs), loss-run and claims history reports such as CLUE, FMCSA safety and inspection data, and insurance credit-based scores where permitted by state law. We request these only in connection with a quote, application, renewal, or servicing of your coverage.

Information collected automatically

Our websites may collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring page, through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How We Use Information

• To prepare quotes and submit applications to insurance carriers and wholesale brokers on your behalf
• To service, endorse, renew, and answer questions about your policy
• To issue certificates of insurance and respond to requests from you or parties you authorize
• To communicate with you by phone, email, and — if you have opted in — text message
• To comply with insurance laws, licensing obligations, carrier requirements, and lawful requests
• To operate, secure, and improve our website and services

3. Text Messaging (SMS) Program

If you provide your mobile number and check the consent box on one of our forms, you agree to receive text messages from Radius Commercial Auto Insurance at that number. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any product or service, and you may request a quote without opting in.

• What we send. Depending on which box you checked: messages about your insurance quote and policy — quote follow-ups, application and document requests, renewal and payment reminders, and answers to your questions — and, if you separately consented, promotional messages about offers and new products.
• Frequency. Message frequency varies based on your activity with us.
• Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Opting out. Reply STOP to any message at any time to end texts from us. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts.
• Help. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the details in Section 11.
• Opting out of texts does not remove you from email or phone contact, and does not affect your policy. Contact us if you want to change those as well.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:

• Insurance carriers, wholesale brokers, and general agents — to obtain quotes, bind coverage, and service your policy. This is the core of what an agency does, and it is what allows us to shop your account.
• Premium finance companies — if you choose to finance your premium.
• Service providers — agency management systems, document storage, email and messaging platforms, and similar vendors, who may use your information only to perform services for us.
• Claims parties — adjusters and carrier claims departments when a claim is reported.
• Legal and regulatory — when required by law, subpoena, regulator, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
• Business transfer — in connection with a sale or merger of our business, subject to this policy.

We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. As stated in Section 3, mobile opt-in data and consent are excluded from all sharing.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive documents through unsecured channels — ask us and we will provide a secure method.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as needed to service your account and for the periods required by insurance recordkeeping laws, carrier requirements, and applicable statutes of limitation, after which we dispose of it securely.

7. Your Choices

• Text messages — reply STOP at any time.
• Marketing email — use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
• Access and correction — contact us to review or correct the personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to request access, correction, or deletion; we will honor rights that apply to you under your state's law.
• Consumer reports — if an adverse decision was based in whole or in part on a consumer report, you have the right under the Fair Credit Reporting Act to know which agency supplied it and to obtain a copy from that agency.

8. Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for basic site function and to understand how the site is used. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; some site features may not work correctly if you do.

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be posted on this page.
